Google Android Tablet, inappropriate pictures/websites keep coming up! Why?

Lately on my brand new google android tablet, very inappropriate pictures/websites have been coming up. These include topless women, porn sites, and naked men. Is anyone else having this issue!? This seems to happen when I close an app. Please help, this is really disturbing!

Without more info about your tablet's use my best guess is that you have been infected with some malicious code. This can happen when engaging unsafe web browsing activity, pirating and sometimes just because. I'd suggest downloading some security software from the android market. My favorite free ones are are AVG and Lookout. Search for them or another antivirus in the market and run a scan on your system. Chances are it will find an infection and clean it, then if that is the only problem it should be fine again. If you have downloaded any android apk's unofficially it is a very high probability that one or more of them is infected. Remember always use Google's android market to download apps, and if the app is not available there use a reputable third party app store. Never pirate apk's or otherwise enable the unknown sources function as this creates an enormous security problem on your device. Android is basically just like the software on most computers, you have to be careful what you do and what you put on it otherwise it can and will get a virus.
