I have a problem. In middle school and high school I used to have a crush on a celebrity, I used to dream about this fantasy life I would have with him and all the usual teenage girl hopes and dreams mumbo jumbo.
Now that I'm in a serious relationship, I've noticed that I'm missing out because I keep comparing my boyfriend with this made up persona which is completely unfair to both of us and is really hindering the relationship. I know its dumb and completly unrealistic for me to expect him to measure up to a flawless peice of fiction. How can I get over my past "celebrity crush" and move forward with this wonderful man that I am with?
