I'm feeding my red devil freeze dried bloodworms and tetra cichlid sticks, but the sticks seem to cloud up the water when I put them in. Why do they do this and is it okay? I used to have bait fish in with him and the water was cloudy so I took all the bait fish out and the water cleared up. Now the food is making the water cloudy? Also he doesn't seem very interested when I come up to his tank to feed him. He doesn't come up to the top or anything, he hides behind the castle. How do I know if he's eating or not? I also have algae wafers. Should I put them in too?
