For writing class, I have to turn an old fairytale into a modern story. I want to do something that has to do with low self esteem, or even that could translate into an eating disorder or something like that. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas. I do not want to do "The Ugly Duckling" because I think it would be too far of a stretch to go from a duckling to a human and make all the changes.
