Elvis Dumervil arrested in Miami on felony assault charges

On Saturday night, Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil was arrested in Miami on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, per Dade County records. Dumervil's charge is a third-degree felony, punishable by up to five years in prison. Dumervil posted $7,500 bail according to KCNC in Denver, and was released later Saturday evening.

Dumervil was charged with assault and disturbing the peace following an altercation with a parking attendant at Invesco Field (the Broncos' home stadium) in 2010, but all charges were eventually dropped.
