Do they record telephone calls in canada??, well it's for evidence, so does telus record telephone calls??

if you called telus then they may have recorded a call that you made to their call center... you know the whole "this call may be recorded for quality assurance and training..."

but if you are talking about your personal phone calls - NO they are not recorded... that would be illegal... they should have a record of the call if it was an outgoing call from your line if that would help...but they probably do not maintain records of incoming calls since you are not charged for incoming calls..

I'm not sure about Canada but I know in the US NO telephone company routinely records telephone conversations. That is illegal and requires a court order. They do keep date and time records(what number called what number and when the call originated) on all outgoing calls from all telephones. Each company retains those records for a limited time.
