Does T-mobile make you pay full price on new phones?

My Birthday is on the 27th. And i'm getting a new phone. (not a new like the Galaxy S4)
Im getting the Galaxy S3 because its got basically everything the S4 does but its cheaper. So does T-mobile make you pay full price right then n there? or can i pay the $70 like it says on the there website? or do they make u pay monthly bills n that pays the phone off until the full 400 is done and payed 4?

You can get it cheaper with a new 2 year cotract or you can pay off the phone with a monthly bill. Also there is a plan that is a little secretive. You get unlimited data unlimited messaging but only 100 minutes for $30/month. You need to go to walmart and get a cheap $15 prepaid tmobile phone and take out the sim card and put it in your galaxy s3 and you'll be able to get the cheap $30 plan i know its confusing but it works. Or you can buy tmobile prepaid activation kit for cheap on ebay or amazon
