Do you think Twilight is an autobiographical novel?

It's because, you know, some people say that Stephenie Meyer is Bella Swan because they have almost the same physical characteristics based on what she posted on her official website.
Please correct me if I'm wrong :)

Self-insert is not the same as autobiographical. No, it's not autobiographical, on the grounds that none of the things in it actually happened.

LMAO

If you like to believe sparkly vampire that likes long run in the forest....

SURE. WHAT EVER HELP YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT...

Ya know, I think this is a really interesting question. To be honest with you, I have never thought of it this way. I do not believe that it is an autobiography. But, maybe there are parts of it that are relevant to her life. She has always said that it was started because of a dream she had. Maybe she added herself in as Bella? Maybe it was about a life she wished she had. Maybe the Jacob part was about a friend she once had.

Sometimes authors write about things they know. Parts of it could be true and about her. When it comes to the vampire part, you never know! We hardly understand the world as it is. The knowledge we have is always changing. Maybe vampires are real. You never know!

Vampires are fictional beings so how can the story be autobiographical. Most authors have a bit of themselves in a story and their characters are usually based on people they knew but that in no way makes it anything like true.
