laser eye in the future? I'm 15 and I can't see myself doing anything other than being an army helicopter pilot.
Though currently I have -5.00 in each eye - no stigmatism. (glasses/contacts/in future laser eye surgery)
At present, the army pilot eyesight requirements are as followed:
# Eyesight
Visual acuity without spectacles: 6/12
Visual acuity with spectacles: 6/6
Lens power: -0.75 to +1.75 dioptres
Astigmatism: Max of 0.75 dioptres
Colour perception: Ishihara test pass
Laser eye surgery is not currently accepted.
Could you see them changing it to accepting laser eye in the future? I hope so.. : (
