..... will be burning union jacks, shouting 'death to Britain', and praising this country's enemy's like the protesters in Luton did?
Or will things be different since they are protesting against Gordon Brown and not against the country they live in?

If it was the 80's or 90's people would really kick off and cause a massive disturbance (what's needed) but nowadays the "Sheeple" will just chant hippy messages and go on about global warming instead of the real issues like you having your as s handed to you by the government.

I'm ashamed to be British.

There are two big problems about today's meetings.

First, the governments don't, in concrete terms, know what they want, what they are going to do or who is going to do it. The G20 is a waste of time, of air-miles and of gas.

Second, the protesters don't know what they want either. Sure, lots of them are against 'consumerism' and capitalism, but what are they for? They don't tell us. The protests are also a waste of time, of air-miles and gas.

Sure, both groups (almost all of them anyway) will tell us that they want justice, prosperity and stability. Yes, right. And if it rained beer on Friday night, we could all be drunk for free. What we need (and lack) from all of them is a clear statement of the outcome they want, and, importantly, the intermediate steps to get there.

We don't get this. What we get is (I already said it) a monumental waste of time, hot air and travelling costs..

And all this when climate change is an issue!
