Do you think having a sunroof in your car is a necessity?

Never a necessity.
If you have air-con then not really needed.
Most cars with air-con do not come with a sunroof now and as most do have air-con then not many around with roofs.
We have 2 cars and one has a sunroof and the other does not. The one with the sroof does have air-con but on a day like today air-con is not needed and i like to open the roof even if the heater has to go on a bit.

Jus bought a car - and it doesn't have a sunroof - bit gutted as summer is coming!

If it has Air Con you wont need it much. But I miss the one I had on my old Jaguar XJ8. Shouldn't panic too much.

Early on in grade school they teach you "needs & wants". A sunroof would be nice but it is clearly a want and not a necessity.

Having a sunroof is a mixed blessing to be honest. In the summer it's nice to go for a drive with the sunroof open but on the other hand, in the wet seasons you can suffer issues such as leaks.

It's certainly not a necessity.
