Do you need to read Rumors before Envy?

i am referring to the book in the Luxe series
i know they are a series but do i still have to read it in order to get what is going on

yes you really need to read Rumors because there is a really big event that takes place with Elizabeth. But if you don't want to just go to wikipedia and read what they have for the description of Rumors and it will tell you everything including spoilers.
