When I was little my Dad's Aunt use to make this strawberry jello and nut like dessert for memorial day and summer get togethers..The bottom layer was basically a mixture of chopped nuts and the top layer was strawberry jello like stuff with chunks of fresh straberries in it.Thats the most i can remember about it besides the fact that it was amazing. It was definitely made from scratch b/c an old country Armenian woman would never use boxed stuff.I cant seem to find the recipe for it online and its not like I can ask b/c anyone who made it has passed on and never left the recipies for the rest of us!
The closest thing I found to it was "Royal Armenian Pudding" (HAIGAGAN ANOUSHEGHEN) but it sounds alittle different than what Im thinking of....
