Do you enjoy it? I think the forest looks way more interesting when it rains, a bit more like a dramatic piece of art if you will. The only downside is the increased amount of ticks. 27 years ive enjoyed the woods, and twice ive gotten a tick on me, both times it was rainy :\

only when it's not windy and i'm freezing my nuts off.

while enjoyable, hiking in the rain can get messy, I'd only do it if there's someplace I can go after to clean up without getting anything else dirty.

I enjoy the peace when it rains. it's silent. no people, no animals, i just enjoy the sound of rain. It doesn't rain much here in SoCal, when it does it's almost magical.
