I love watching my favorite tv shows on dvd a lott on my laptop. I've always been told that laptops are not made for heavy dvd use and lately my dvd rom has become sensitive to scratches and smudges and sometime just freezes all together. I have used a dvd cleaner disc but it doesn't seem to help. My question is do they make dvd roms for laptops that i can get installed that are made for heavy dvd use? My laptop is an Hp pavilion dv5.
