Do i have to have a special monitor to view Blu-ray and HD DVD movies on computer.?

I am planning on buying a Blu-ray/ hd dvd player on my new comp build.
I need to know if i need to buy a monitor w/ like hdcp or some to view HD movies My vid cards are going to be 2x Evga GeForce GTX 280 FTW Edition 1GB 512-bit in sli

1) make sure that ur video card has a hdmi output
2) buy a hd monitor, i recomend at least a 24"
3) buy a hdmi cable and hook ur computer up 2 ur screen
