Do dreams have meanings?

Last night, I had a dream that I grew an eyeball on my right buttock. It scared the hell out of me. Should I be worried?
What I meant was that I grew an eye socket with an eyeball inside of it on my right buttock. Am I going to mutate because of this?
Is there anything I can do to prevent an eyeball from growing out of my ass? Eyeballs creep me out as it is. I don't want another one, and not in my ass of all places.
