When lightning strikes near the house it (or tree) 'fry's' the Zinwell 3X4 18v-13v splitter (happened twice).
The installer put a external ground running from the 'power meter' to the splitter. I think the 'lightning surge is traveling through the ground wire & frying the Zinwell splitter.
How can this be fixed ? they are costly & usually end up taking several days to get a replacement through the mail.
