greet/bid farewell to customers? I'm pleased to report that my local Jack in the Crack came through with the holiday spirit this year. After the guy with the headset handed over my crispy chicken strips, homeboy dropped the "M-C" bomb on me, without any apprehension or discomfort. At that point I felt pretty damn American, at least for second; and no, I don't resent atheists; in fact I admire sound cases against religion.
A another employee, this time a woman, dropped the same bomb on me a few days later.
