It depends on the type of deprivation in question.
1.. if a child is deprived of love, acceptance of family.. it will definately have a permanant effect.
2.. Children remember hurts, love, acceptance and respect. Their lives are shaped by their rearing.
And with their own personalities thrown in, their peers, and other contacts throughout their childhood,, All of this does have a definitive effect..
