Just got a 76, the best thing to do is put them right at the end of a straight away because they shoot faster when it is just a straight shot.

I just found out someting amazing, the first tower you should make is a blue one at the bottom of the very first trail where they enter, then upgrade that until its maxed it will rape all. Build more towers as needed.
