I am about to move into my 1st home and would like some ideas to decorate my sunken lounge room. The walls are all a neutral off white colour. Light brown speckled carpet. Assume youre facing the TV - the room is wider than it is long. On the left are floor to ceiling windows. On the right is ceiling to half way windows. Both windows have cream coloured curtains. And on either side of the TV are steps going up to leave the room. The wall behind you is super long and completely blank. I have 2 or 3 plain black ikea couches. Right now the room looks extremely bare. How do I dress it up in a modern way?
