It's a crunch clash between two Brazilian sides Palmeiras and Corinthians. When one player starts showboating someone takes offence and all hell breaks loose.

Too much passion in the game

Its a small file

What's weird about it. You kick the ball and use only your foot, hence "Football"! Now the American game by the same name uses the kicking action only three ways, the rest of the time it's handles with the hands. How can this be called "Football"?

Europe has it wrong. "Football" implies that the ball is in some way a foot. But it is infact not. In American football the ball in a foot long, so it is a football. And in responce to Homer, I've seen ball of all shapes and sizes. They just have to bounce well.

No! Football implies a ball being kicked with the foot, thus Football. In the same way in Handball, a ball is thrown with the hand.

Odd one out.....

Football: Ball kicked with foot.
Football: Ball thrown with hand.

Was that the goalkeeper practicing his parkour at the end?!

Also - I play Rugby Union Football. How does that work then?

I know its a variation of football brought in by the Rugby School in Warwickshire, and we do trow to ball to one another. But there is more kicking involved than American Football.
