I studded out my male dog in return for the pick of the litter. There is a contract in place that states (upon other things) that the puppies will have their tails docked and dew claws removed by the owner of the bitch at the right time by a licensed vet... the people decided not to remove the tails or the dew claws.
The contract states that I get pick of the litter... the people decided to start to try and sell the puppies now (collect deposits anyways) and the pups are only 3 weeks old so I have not made my pick as of yet!
The contract states that I will take possession of my pup no sooner than 7 weeks and no later than 8 weeks however the people want me to come get the pup at 6 weeks!
What should I do... should I accept the puppy then try to sue for what it would cost to have the tail docked and dew claws removed at a later date (which I feel is cruel now that the pup is older)
Should I accept the puppy at all? If I do can I sue for breach of contract?
Please help me out here...what exactly can I do?
