A Connecticut small town's Little League is reeling after one of its all-star team coaches reacted so angrily to an umpire's call that the umpire called off the entire game.

As you can see in the video above, a coach from the Wilton (Conn.) Little League's 11-year-old all-star squad angrily accosted a umpire following a call he disagreed with during a Wilton game against the 11-year-olds from Oxford (Conn.) Little League. The video above shows just some of the argument -- a period during which the Wilton coach repeatedly calls the umpire "insane" -- as the parent who recorded the aggressive interaction from the Oxford side of the field delayed taking out her phone to record the incident until after the coach had already been berating the umpire for as long as a full minute.

Shortly after the argument you can see began, the umpire decided he had had enough and called off the entire game.

The Oxford parent who recorded the incident, assistant coach Lisa Suttile, told Oxford Patch that the entire incident was an embarrassment for Little League in general because of the Wilton coach's angry interaction with the umpire and the way he treated his own players, whom she said he had dressed down with profanities for their play on the field.

"You just don't speak to umpires like that and you certainly don't speak to kids like that," Suttile told Oxford Patch. "This was uncalled for."

For it's part, Wilton Little League announced that it had disciplined the as-yet unidentified coach in question for his actions and that further action could be forthcoming after the organization completes its own review of the incident that unfolded in Oxford.

"After receiving information about an incident occurring at a summer league*tournament game this week, Wilton Little League is fully investigating all*the facts surrounding the situation.*There have been disciplinary actions levied against the coaches involved and*the extent of these actions regarding anyone affiliated with Wilton Little*League will be determined at the conclusion of our investigation."
