Compressed air specifically for pc's?

Can I use it with my pc on and running? can it damage any parts of my pc? And if i do need to unlpug do i unplug it completely?

Turn it off. Any compressed air brand will do, always better to get the wholesale brands as they don't have a bitterant in it (to stop teenagers huffing the stuff), as bitterant leaves residue.
Always wait for it to dry as it is electrically conductive. and NEVER use a vacuum cleaner!!!!

You should always have you PC unpluged, and disconnected before doing any maintance to it.
