I have a 1986 dodge Ram van and when the radiator fluid is full clouds of white sweet smelling radiator vapor enters the vans cab through the heat vents. What's going on and how do I fix it. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.
you have a bad heater core. For now wit hot weather coming, you can bypass the heater core by connecting the two lines that go to the heater directly together. Or you can replace the heater core now.
USUALLY from bad hose or issue under the hood! Go to ANY oil change center and they can check it for you! YOU can OPEN THE HOOD and look first! MUGHT BE water pump leak or HOSE that has ruptured! if COOLANT dissappears then there is a problem USUALLY UNDER THE HOOD somewhere!
