Citroen Picasso 2.0 HDI?

I constantly have "engine fault" light on my dash and when I reach a speed between 70-90 Km/h the engine stop, the error displays again with a beep. Is it safe to drive the car with that constant error? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

best to go to for a diagnostic test this could be a serious fault which could lose you your engine

Not sure what the 'thumbs down' was for, Evelyn is spot on. Don't drive it - that's why it's telling you to STOP.

No, it's not safe to drive like this. The only thing you can do is take it to a garage and get the fault codes read. That's why there's a light on the dash.
