Christians, what is your excuse?

Early believers were part of a society that thought the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around us. There was no Internet, no scientific literature, the general beliefs were not limited to gods but included sea monsters and other horrific and mythical creatures. These people were part of a society that had no information to suggest anything other than gods existence. What is your excuse in the 21st century?

The book of Isaiah in the bible has always claimed the earth was circular, the flat thing was only a catholic idea.

Isaiah 40:22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

We all believed in a round earth the moment the scientists proved it to be true just like everyone else. We are human like you. The Bible does NOT say the earth was flat. That is the Atheists interpretation. Read Isa. 40:5.
