Our female chihuahua occasionally jerks in her sleep, and then trembles....when we try to wake her, she won't wake up or stop this for maybe 30 seconds. She IS a deep sleeper, like a baby, but could she be dreaming and just very deep asleep, or do you have the opinion these may be seizures? Has anyone had a similar occurance with their dog? She is otherwise completely healthy and 2 years old.
