Dropped my Samsung Gravity T from pretty high up and now the touchscreen no longer works.
Everything else is fine and screen shows no sign of damage. Only thing is a tab (called a ribbon?) from what I think is from the digitizer popped out and is sticking out from the top of the screen. I attempted to just slide the tab back in and it didn't fix it.

I know nothing on how to fix cellphones, but from the little I researched I hear the digitizer (touch screen sensor) would be the issues with my phone since everything, but the touch screen works now.
Is this correct? It didn't appear visibly damaged, tab was a little bent, but other than that the lcd and rest of the external of the phone is fine and works.

What do you think needs replacement?
Everything works, just the touch screen doesn't respond to any touch.
