OK, so this situation is hypothetical. I want to buy a used car this summer. I am looking to buy a 1984 Porsche 944, and I want to install a new stereo system with that has: radio, cd player, and the ability to hook up my ipod and mp3 players to it. Does it matter what size the car stereo is so it will fit my car? Where are good places to buy reasonably prices stereos systems? Can I install it myself, I heard it's not that difficult and not worth the money to pay for installation? What is DIN? and what does 1Din and 2Din mean? Any you have any other input regarding buy car stereos I'd appreciate it so much.
