Hi there.
Trying to play "the lord of the rings extended edition, the fellowship of the ring" (australian) on a sony blu ray player BDP - S570 (USA).
I get an error message that says "CANNOT OPERATE THIS DISK".
I updated the firmware as suggested by other sites, but it didn't fix the issue.
Is it the region code? I didn't think it was because on most devices with a region code, the error message will actually tell you that's why it cant play it, but in this case it doesn't give any details.
The disk works fine on my macbook pro, and the dvd player is able to play some other movies, but none of the lord of the rings' that i own.
extra details: I'm using an HDMI cable connected to a sony tv.
