Can you use the same sim card for the Iphone 4 as you did the Iphone 3?

Basically, I have an Iphone 3G and I am about to buy a 2G Iphone 4. Can I use the memory card in my old phone for the new one? Any and all information on this would be great!
I have an Iphone 3G and am about to buy an Iphone 4 2GB. (not Generation, sorry about that)

Your new iphone 4 should come with a new sim card and you shouldn't have any problems. By the way, the Iphone 4 is not 2G.

For starters there is no such thing as a 2G iPhone 4. Your old SIM card will NOT work in it without modification as the iPhone 4 requires a micro-SIM.
