Can you use an Att&t Iphone on verizon?

there is also a recent update from verizon that i saw in a commercial in which the at&t iphone4 is soon going to be available on verizon as well. different network, same phone. this is going to be released on feb 10, 2011, but if ur feeling anxious enough, and ur already a verizon customer, u can preorder and have it by feb 3, or at least that is what is said. im not saying u have to spend $200, but thats the only possibility that i have found. hope this helps

so verizon is getting the iphone and i have one for att&t. I was just wondering if i can just take my 3GS, over to verizon without buying the iphone 4g.

Unfortunately, you cannot. These 2 providers use different networks (AT&T: GSM and Verizon: CDMA). AT&T phones use SIM cards whereas Verizon phones do not. However, Verizon offers a trade-in program in which you can get money towards your new iPhone. I hope this helps!
