Can you fit a '07 Saturn Sky Engine into a 1970 Opel GT?

Im thinking about fixing up my rusty old crappy Opel GT. It will be an awesome first car. I was wondering if the new Opel GT motor would fit in the old Opel GT?
If the are any other ideas about what motors could fit in the Opel that are under say $900 that would be helpful if you need to know i just want it to go faster than it was when it came out of the factory i also would like a semi-automatic trans so i can use paddle shifters in special occasions

With the right amount of $$$ you can fit a V12 in there if you want, as always, its all matter of budget.
