Just got a new modem from att had almost a month now and the power supply has quit already
should known somthing was up it took longer than usual to power up when I first hook it up
anyway I was wondering if anyone knows if its safe to use a universal power supply until att sends me another I connected it to the modem already it works no matter what voltage I set it for

12v
9v
6v
4.5v
3v
the original power supply has an output of 12v and I not sure if the modem requires all 12v or not so should set the universal supply 12v or one of the lower voltages if anyone can help me out with this please do so
