i grew up listening to classical and instrumental piano and then as a teen expanded into pop, country, rock, and even hip-hop. a lot of the people my age at school, tho, are into bands like avenged sevenfold, which ive heard several songs of, and the screaming kinda hurts my ears. (yes A7X fans, i know not ALL of their songs are like that i actually do like the one song called dear god) so, my question once again is...can something with no melody really - honestly - be called music?
