can i watch blue-ray dvds on a hd tv?

hi ive got a ps3 and a hdtv can i watch blue ray?

my tv does not have hdmi connection its all SCART leads.
am gonna buy a blueray box set just didnt want to spend money n end up with errors or it not working because of the tv
my tv has HDTV stamped on it the screen is also daft you gotta sit right infront of it otherwise its cloudy

Well you can't watch a blu ray in HD without a HDMI lead, plus if your tv dosen't have a HDMI port then it's not HD.

Yea all you have to do is hook your ps3 up to your tv and put the blue ray disk in.
