sadly no,baking is a precise science that heavily relys on ph balance and correct measurements, and white granulated sugar is VERY different from brown sugar .brown sugar is basically white suagr infused with molasses a by product of the sugar cane plant. so no u will need to keep a package of both types for baking. i keep 2 powdered or confectioners, ganulated white and brown sugar( theres even a difference between light brown and dark brown sugar.
