transmission? 1) Is is possible to buy a new DSG transmission from somewhere, say from VW?
2) Is it legal to change/adapt transmission of one brand to another? (e.g: DSG of VW with manual of Fiat Punto)
3) Is it doable/feasible to do such a thing (compatibility issues?)
Why do I need this? Because I am happy with my Punto except the manual transmission which seems unrepairable (after many repairs). DSG transmission is my dream. I can pay half the price of a new car to get DSG in my Punto if doable/feasible/compatible and legal. Thanks in advance for comments!
