can and how do i add a 2nd battery and 5 farad capacitor to my car stereo?

i want to install a second battery to my car audio.can i run it to my main battery.i will also be adding a 5 farad cap..stock 94 buick lesabre alternator and battery..plus second battery and 5 farad cap..running a 2000 watt 4 channel amp..pushing 4 12s........so can i do it and how should i???

Forget the cap, you need power.

The best way to get power where it needs to be is to get a deep cycle battery like a Kinetic or a Yellow Top for the main battery (just one). upgrading the Big 3 will be a huge help - that is add bigger gauge wire to the power wire from the battery to the alternator, ground wire from battery to chassis and the ground strap to the engine/tranny.
