Can a Net10 SIM card be used in an iPhone 3g?

I recently bought an iphone 3g from a friend, without a sim card. I'm really reluctant to pay for the AT&T service, and I already know about unlocking it.

I've also heard that the Net10 Prepaid company runs partly off of AT&T, and was wondering if I bought a new Net10 phone, removed the sim card and put it in my iphone and then activated it with the iphone's IMEI number, would it work on the iphone?

If not, would I have to unlock it, or would it not work at all?

Thanks

The AT&T network locked iPhone must be unlocked before using any other GSM network SIM card with it. You ca unlock an iPhone safer and easier using remote unlocking service. You can get the remote unlocking service for an iPhone from Superunlockcodes.com at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide. Good luck.
