I would like to know what does it mean to renounce Jesus Christ?

There are many ways to renounce Christ;most do it by denying belief in His divinity.However some "Christian" churches teach renunciation with their doctrine that miracles from Jesus' Holy Spirit such as speaking in tongues is a work of Satan;the teaching that Jesus explained is the one sin that can not be forgiven.
