Facts: my tv has played a Blu ray player in the past but then stopped playing the same blu ray player - i tried both HDMI ports on the tv. But it never worked again. My tv plays my cable through a DVR box with a HDMI cable - so that's confusing.
I eventually thought it was the Blue ray player (even though I used it a total of 10 times and it was less than a year old) so I got a new one black friday. This one is a Sony from Best buy -- and it wont play either. My tv actually recognizes it for a second - the word SONY flashes on the tv then nothing - blank screen.....
Any thoughts? I'm getting frustrated.
