bmw 3 series or lexus is300?

this is my first car. which do you think will be a better choice? also im not worried about maintenance cause i can do it myself. also does the is300 come in manual trans? (im paying for the car myself). thanks

Better off with the Lexus in the long run. BMW's are junk if you ask me. And the Lexus is a Toyota and they are probably the most reliable cars out there. I dont think the lexus comes with a manual trans.

to the guy below... if lexus' are toyotas, they are crap. iddnt you hear the news reports that stated that toyota is resonsible for half the car accidents because of the failures that their cars have. just type it in on google and you'll be better informed.
