BlackBerry Pearl 8130 or iPhone with the Boost Mobile Network?

Which works? I know it would need to be unlocked. Which one would work better? Is the $50 plan good enough for either of these phone?

neither would work, the iphone is for at & t, which is gsm network., and boost mobile is cdma/iden network, and since the 8130 is for sprint and you cant get sprint phones unlocked and boost mobile doesnt have blackberry plans it would be no use, because it wouldnt met its full potential with only voice and text and it wouldnt have the churp churp feature neither. i seriously doubt that it can be unlocked.

unlocked iphones are skechy and don't work well. Go with a phone that is supposed to be used by the carrier.
