BitTorrent and utorrent running really inconsistently....help?

I'm using BitTorrent and utorrent on my Samsung galaxy tab 2 but they download speeds are incredibly inconsistent and really starting to piss me off! In the last hour it has ranged from 1.0kb/s to 750 kb/s. can anybody shed any light as to why??
I've messed around with maximum download and upload speeds etc and downloading files that have 500+ seeders etc?
Please keep answers relatively simple, I'm not a computer whizz.

yes the download speeds vary all the time, sometimes i get over 120 kb/s and then next time only 15kb/s...you'll just have to be patient, leave your computer left on over night when you go to bed
