If you were planning a wine tasting trip to the Santa Barbara area and had to make a list of at least 5 "must visit" wineries, what would they be?
I would like to do a full tour at ONE of the wineries - meaning, see the vineyards, making process, etc. The others can just be tasting. I'm driving up from L.A. and do not care where the wineries are located (Santa Barbara/Santa Ynez, etc). I would just like an authentic experience at real wineries!
Give me your best list! Bonus points if you know of any "must-hit" romantic, "celebrating-an-anniversary" type places.
