Hi, I have a 93 yamaha exciter, and my belt broke the other day. that belt has been on it for like 7 years and it was very skinny from being worked in a lot. Anyways i went and got the belt that was for the machine. it costed me like 100 bucks. after i put it on it was way to tight on the clutch and you could not start it unless the track was up off the ground. also after starting it with the track off the ground it would not idle it would just stop because it was to tight on the clutch.. im not sure what to do or how to get the belt looser please help
I checked multiple times if the belt was right, and it is definitely the right belt. how would i go about fixing the secondary clutch?
